Rolette, ND

I was glad to drive to the Math Meet this year.  The 4th grade team was Sonja, Carly, Lexy and David.  They all did a great job.  The Math Meet in Leeds is for 4th, 5th and 6th grades.  Carly did an outstanding job on the individual math test.  She had the 2nd highest score for the 4th graders overall.  The 5th grade team was Ashley, Kadie, Casy and Sam. The 6th grade team was Trevor, Nic and Kinnady.  There are 3 parts to the Math Meet: part 1 is an individual math test, part 2 is a hands on problem challenge and part 3 is a group challenge.  Knowledge, team work and problem solving skills where all used.  Our future community leaders did Rolette proud.

The annual Wildlife Game Feed was great fun again this year.  It is a great chance to clean out the freeze and share recipes with others.  The feast featured Bear, Elk, Duck, Walleye, Northers, Pheasant Egg Salad, Deer tenderloin and the  proverbial Deer Sausage.
