4-H’ers participate in County Consummer Choices

Consummer Choices is an activity were kids are given some “standards” of requirerments. There are 4 choices. The kids have to use reason to decide which choice meet the standards best. Here is an example class: Ross wants to buy a pair of jeans to wear. He likes dark blue color, relax fit and zipper-fly closure. He wants jeans make of 100% cotton. #1 Jean have dark blue color, relaxed fit and 100% cotton. #2 Jean has dark blue color, relaxed fit, zipper fly closure and 100% cotton. #3 Jean has dark blue color and 100% cotton. #4 jean has light blue color, straight legs and button fly closure. The class would be places 2-1-3-4.
