I do like what I have been seeing in town since Horizons has begun, but I still think there are a lot of people in Rolette that have grown up here and/or have DEEP roots here that need to be more active in helping move Rolette forward. We can’t all just stand by and wait for someone else to take action.
Leadership Plenty has helped build up new leaders and old leaders in the community. Thanks Horizons Directors you have done a lot of work and it is appreciated!!

Of course I think you are right. You are always right. The thing to do to get anything ideas moving is to have more people involved and a wider base of involvment. This is the ONE of the best things we have done as a community.

I think going through the leadership plenty program has enabled a lot of people to discover leadership qualities that otherwise may have remained dormant. Ideas are still continuing to be explorered and actions are still being taken to make this a better town to live in and to attract tourists as well as new people to the community. Our goals are still relevant and people are willing to pursue them. I think Jo is right on the money.

Let’s try this again - my first comment did not go through - never give up is the leadership motto of Horizions! I’m all for the “Pie Shop” in Rolette and will stop in when I visit my daughter in the area. Keep up the good work!
